Question - Swastikas on Malwa Sultanate coins

While looking at various Malwa sultanate coins, I came across something interesting. These two otherwise identical 1 tanka coins of Mahmud Shah Khilji II, with the same date and everything have differently oriented swastikas. One has a clockwise and the other an anti clockwise one.

I first thought it to be an error as maybe a muslim ruler wouldn't have known the orientation of the Hindu swastika but his grandfather, Ghiyas Shah Khilji has already featured correctly orientated swastikas.

It could also be a different mint mark, I do not own G&G yet which has a list of them.

I would love some more background on this as I do not think this is an unresearched topic.
